About

Widely regarded as Pakistan's most beautiful beach — a sweeping crescent of white sand backed by towering golden sandstone cliffs on the Makran Coastal Highway. The deep blue Arabian Sea, crystal clarity of the water, and utter absence of development make it one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes in South Asia.

History

Kund Malir was an obscure fishing community known only to local Baloch communities until the Makran Coastal Highway was completed in 2004, connecting Karachi to Gwadar and opening this stretch of coast to travellers for the first time. It remains undeveloped, with no permanent hotels — overnight visitors camp on the beach.
