About

A long, lush valley stretching 155 km through the Hazara region, carved by the Kunhar River. Dotted with waterfalls, trout streams, pine forests, and mountain villages — the road to Naran passes through dozens of scenic stops.

History

Kaghan Valley was part of the Hazara kingdom and later absorbed into British India's North-West Frontier Province. The Kaghani people maintained a distinct dialect and pastoral culture through centuries of relative isolation.
